The New McKendree United Methodist men will serve catfish and chicken and tenders from 4 to 7 p.m. Saturday at the Celebration Center. Menu includes coleslaw, baked beans, spiral potatoes, dessert and beverage. Children under 5 eat free.

St. Ambrose serves chicken dinner

A fried chicken and chicken and dumplings dinner sponsored by the Daughters of St. Ambrose will be served from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Sunday at St. Ambrose Parish Center in Chaffee, Mo. Carryouts will be available. Children's meals will be discounted.

Broussard's Cajun Cuisine will hold "Dining for the Paws" day from 11:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. March 22. Coupons, to be presented at the restaurant when ordering, are available at the Humane Society. A donation of 20 percent of the total order will be made to the Humane Society of Southeast Missouri. The coupons are good for dining in or carry out. A chicken and dumpling and ham dinner will be held from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. March 25 at the Cape Senior Center, 921 N. Clark Ave., Cape Girardeau. Proceeds will benefit the building fund. Carryouts available. Meal includes mashed potatoes, slaw, green beans and dessert. Discounted price for children.

St. Joseph serving spring dinner

A family-style dinner will be served from 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. April 1 at St. Joseph Parish, 606 Sycamore St., Scott City. Menu includes fried chicken, chicken and dressing, chicken and dumplings, mashed potatoes, green beans, slaw, apple sauce, French bread and dessert. Children under 6 eat free. Carryouts available. There will also be a country store and bakery shop.
