The youth group of Westminster Presbyterian Church, 1820 Perryville Road in Cape Girardeau, will conduct a soup dinner beginning at 5 p.m. March 8 at the church.

The money raised will be used for a mission trip in the summer. A silent auction will be conducted during the meal with the winners announced at 7 p.m.

St. Ambrose to hold dumpling dinner

CHAFFEE -- St. Ambrose in Chaffee will conduct a fried chicken and chicken and dumplings dinner from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. March 16 in the St. Ambrose Parish Center.

Carryouts will be available, and the event is sponsored by the Daughters of St. Ambrose.

St. Lawrence making pancakes, biscuits

NEW HAMBURG, Mo. -- The St. Lawrence Parish Center in New Hamburg will serve pancakes, biscuits, gravy, sausage, scrambled eggs and fruit from 7:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Sunday. Annual pork sausage supper is fund raiser

The Hanover Lutheran Men's Club will serve a pork sausage supper at the Cape Girardeau Church beginning at 3:30 p.m. Sunday. The menu includes potatoes, sauerkraut, dessert and more. For more information, call 335-8583.
