Fall festival at Whitewater this Saturday

From 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday a fall festival will be held at Whitewater United Methodist Church. A meal of soup, chili, dessert, plus a country store with crafts and homemade items will be available.

Ham and bean dinner

From 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 2 the American Legion Post 63 will hold a dinner featuring ham and beans, slaw, cornbread, dessert, drink and hot dogs and chips for children. Children 5 and under eat free. Carry outs available. For more information call 334-4600.

Holiday at Hobbs dinner

From 3:30 to 7 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 4 Hobbs Chapel United Methodist Church will hold its annual "Holiday at Hobbs" dinner with turkey, dressing and all the trimmings plus ham. The church is located at 3024 State Highway 177.

Fish fry at Divine Temple

From 10:30 to 3 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 4 a fish fry will be held at 22359 US Highway 61, Oran. Dine in or carry out. Menu includes two catfish filets, coleslaw, French fries or spaghetti, dessert. For more in information call 262-

Chili and soup supper

From 4 to 7 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 11 Sedgewickville Lutheran Church will hold a chili and soup supper with assorted sandwiches, desserts and drinks. There will be crafts, cutlery and baked goods. Carry outs available. Children under 6 eat free. Located at Route K and WW in Sedgewickville. There are matching funds from Thrivent Financial for Lutherans.

Annual Thanksgiving dinner and craft bazaar

Serving begins at 3 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 18 at the Patton United Methodist Church, Patton, Mo. Menu includes ham, turkey and dressing and all the trimmings. Children 5 and under eat free. Carry outs available.
