Zion Lutheran to hold sausage supper Sunday
Zion Lutheran Church in Pocahontas will hold its annual family-style pork sausage supper from 3 to 7 p.m. Sunday. There will be a country store. Children younger than 6 eat free.
Jackson Senior Center to hold breakfast brunch
The Jackson Senior Center will serve ham, sausage, eggs, biscuits and gravy, fruit and muffins from 7 to 11 a.m. Sunday. Breakfast donations will be used to aid in the center's new parking lot.
All-you-can-eat fish fry planned for Friday
A dine-in and carry-out all-you-can-eat fish fry lunch will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday at the Scott City First Assembly of God, 312 Dearborn St. Deliveries will be available in town only. Call ahead for multiple carry-outs. Dinner will be available from 5 to 7 p.m. The meal includes fried fish, cole slaw, baked beans, potatoes, hush puppies, tea and coffee. Grace United Methodist Church to hold dinner
Grace United Methodist Church will hold a chicken pie and ham dinner from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sunday. Children 5 and younger eat free.
Steak night scheduled at Cape Girardeau VFW
The Ladies Auxiliary of VFW Post 3838 will hold steak night from 5 to 8 p.m. Nov. 3 at the post, 1049 N. Kingshighway, Cape Girardeau. The menu includes steak, baked potato, Texas toast, salad bar and dessert. The public is invited.
