APPLE CREEK, Mo. -- A buffet dinner will be served from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Nov. 2 at St. Joseph Parish at Apple Creek. The meal includes pork sausage, backbone and sauerkraut, and chicken and dumplings with trimmings. A country store is included.

Whole hog sausage meal served at church

POCAHONTAS -- The Zion Lutheran Church, located at 264 Main St., will hold its annual sausage supper from 3 to 7 p.m. Oct. 26. A full meal will be served with home-baked bread and coffee cake. There will be a country store.

Annual turkey dinner offered at parish center

An annual turkey dinner will be held from noon to 3 p.m. Oct. 26 at the Immaculate Conception Parish Center cafeteria. Carry outs are available.

St. Paul Lutheran dinner auction planned

FRUITLAND -- The fourth annual dinner auction of St. Paul Lutheran Church and School will be held Nov. 8 at the Bavarian Halle in Fruitland. The theme is Fun in the Son.

Meal is catered by Mac's Smokehouse and a silent, blackboard and oral auction will be held. Tickets may be bought at St. Paul Church. For more information call 243-2236.

Chili and stew supper served on Oct. 25

The St. John's United Church of Christ, located two and a half miles west of Fruitland on FF, will serve chili and stew starting at 4 p.m. Oct. 25.

There will be a country store. Given by Women's Fellowship. For more information, call Peggy Borgfield at 243-8208.
