Advance church serves beef and chicken dinner
St. Joseph Catholic Church on Highway 91 North in Advance, Mo., will hold a dinner from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Sunday. The menu includes kettle beef, fried chicken and chicken and dumplings. Children under 5 eat free.
Whole-hog sausage served at Shawneetown
A whole-hog pork sausage supper will begin at 3:30 p.m. Sunday at Trinity Lutheran Parish Hall, Shawneetown. Children under 6 eat free. The event is sponsored by Trinity LLL Men's Club and Trinity Ladies Aid.

Chili, chicken soup served at St. James
St. James United Church of Christ, on County Road 366, near Tilsit, will serve chili and chicken soup from 4 to 7 p.m. Saturday. The public is invited to attend.
Chicken and dumpling and ham supper
The Evangelical UCC Church will hold a chicken and dumpling and ham supper from 4 to 7 p.m. Sunday at 33 S. Ellis St. Children under 6 eat free.
