Cape Senior Center to hold dinner Oct. 21
The Cape Senior Center, 921 N. Clark Ave. in Cape Girardeau, will hold a dinner from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Oct. 21 to benefit the building fund. The menu is chicken and dumplings, ham, mashed potatoes, slaw, green beans, dessert and drink. Served all-you-can-eat family-style. Discounted for children ages 6 to 12. Take-home orders will be available.
Whole hog sausage supper to be held
The whole hog pork sausage supper sponsored by Trinity LLL Men's Club and Trinity Ladies Aid begins at 3:30 p.m. Oct. 21 at Trinity Lutheran parish hall in Shawneetown. Children younger than 6 eat free.
Scott City Assembly of God to hold fish fry
The Scott City Assembly of God will hold an all-you-can-eat fish fry from 5 to 7 p.m. Oct. 26 at 312 Dearborn St. in Scott City. The meal will be fried fish, coleslaw, baked beans, potatoes, hush puppies, tea and coffee. Children 5 and younger eat free.
