Chicken, ham dinner to be served at senior center

A family-style dinner will be held from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sept. 28 at Cape Senior Center, 921 N. Clark. The dinner includes chicken and dumplings, ham, mashed potatoes, coleslaw, green beans, dessert and drinks.

Proceeds will benefit the building fund. Carry-outs available. For more information, call 335-1352.

Sausage supper to be held at St. John's

A family-style sausage supper will be at 4 p.m. Sept. 6 at St. John's United Church of Christ, two and a half miles west of Fruitland.

Trinity Lutheran holding sale, dinner in September

Trinity Lutheran Church of Egypt Mills, 5665 County Road 635, Cape Girardeau, will hold a craft and produce sale as well as a dinner on Sept. 27.

The sale will take place from 1 to 7 p.m.; dinner will be served from 3 to 7 p.m.

The crafts/produce sale will include apple butter, baked goods, jellies and jams, mums, pumpkins, fall garden vegetables and Christmas and miscellaneous crafts. Dinner includes chicken and dumplings, baked ham, corn, green beans, coleslaw, homemade bread, drink and dessert.

Children under 3 eat free. Carry-outs will be available.
