Fried chicken and kettle beef dinner scheduled
A buffet-style dinner will be served from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sunday at St. Marks Chapter 167 Order of the Eastern, at 2307 Broadway in Cape Girardeau.
The menu includes oven fried chicken and kettle beef.
Fish fry to be held at Diehlstadt church

Diehlstadt General Baptist Church will hold an annual fish fry from 4 to 7 p.m. Saturday. The menu includes all-you-can-eat catfish, french fries, coleslaw, hushpuppies, desserts, drinks and fried green tomatoes. Catfish will be provided by the James Bayou Fish Cookers.
Carryouts are available.
The gospel music of His Guys and other gospel singing will be featured. Proceeds will benefit the Needy Fund.
