Lenten dinners to be held at Scott City Knights

All-you-can-eat Lenten fish dinners will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday and April 2 at Scott City's Knights of Columbus Upper Hall.

St. Joseph holding spring dinner in April

The annual spring dinner at St. Joseph's Church in Scott City will be held from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. April 4. The menu includes fried chicken, dressing, dumplings, green beans, mashed potatoes, slaw, applesauce, French bread, dessert, tea and coffee. Carryouts, a country store and bakery shop will all be available. Children under 6 eat free.

Lenten fish fry suppers will be held from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. Friday and April 2 at St. Vincent High School cafeteria in Perryville, Mo.

Fried chicken dinner to benefit cancer relay

The Jackson Knights of Columbus Ladies Auxiliary will hold a fried chicken dinner from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday at the Jackson Knights of Columbus Hall. Proceeds will benefit the 2004 American Cancer Society's Cape County Relay for Life. This year's Relay for Life will be held at Cape County Park North June 4 and 5. For more information about the Relay for Life, call 334-9197.
