Lions Club Pancake Day scheduled for March 12
The Cape Lions Club will hold its 65th annual Pancake Day at the Arena Building from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, March 12. Pancakes and sausage will be served. The price for pancake tickets is $3. All proceeds will go to charity.
Anyone donating a pair of eyeglasses to support the Lions Club sight program will receive a free pancake ticket.
Knights of Columbus to hold chicken dinner
Kettle-fried chicken and all the trimmings will be served at the Knights of Columbus Hall, U.S. 61, Jackson, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday, March 2. Everyone is invited. Adult ticket is $6, ages 6 to 12, $3 and under age 6 eats free.
Knights of Columbus to hold breakfast Sunday
A breakfast of ham, sausage, eggs, biscuits, gravy and fried potatoes will be served from 8 to 11:30 a.m. Sunday at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Leopold, Mo. Adult charge is $5, children, $3.50.
Chili/soup supper planned for Saturday
St. Augustine School in Kelso, Mo., will serve a chili/chicken noodle soup supper in the gym from 4 to 7:30 p.m. on Saturday.
Dinner auction to be held at Bavarian Halle
St. Mary Cathedral School will hold a dinner auction at 4 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 22, at the Bavarian Halle in Fruitland.
Breakfast to be held at St. Maurus Parish
St. Maurus Parish will hold a breakfast at St. Maurus Parish Hall, Highway B, Biehle, Mo., from 7 to 11 a.m., Sunday, Feb. 23.
Jackson Rotary Pancake Day to be Feb. 25
The 54th annual Jackson Rotary Pancake Day will be from 6:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 25, at New McKendree United Methodist Church, 209 S. High St., Jackson. -- From staff reports
