Salvation Army will serve 'Meals with Friends'
The Salvation Army, located at 701 Good Hope in Cape Girardeau, will be serving "Meals with Friends" this week from 4:30 to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday.
Any individual is welcome to come and enjoy a hot, nutritious meal in a warm, friendly environment at no cost.
The following meals will be served:
Monday: baked ham, augratin potatoes, salad, peaches, bread and butter, cake or pie.
Tuesday: shepherd's pie, cole slaw, bread and butter, cake or pie.
Wednesday: roasted turkey, mashed potatoes, gravy, buttered corn, rolls and butter, cake or pie.
Thursday: sloppy joe on bun, potato chips, green beans, applesauce, cake or pie.
Friday: chili with beans, vegetable beef soup, crackers, fruit cup, cake or pie.
