The Choral Union will begin the year with John Rutter's new "Magnificat," scored for full symphonic orchestra, chorus and soloists. The soloists will be selected from the choirs.

In addition, the Choral Union will begin preliminary reading on Carl Orff's "Carmina Burana," with the performance scheduled for early May. Unlike other works to date, the union will use professional soloists for "Carmina Burana."
