Folk concert to be held at Trail of Tears
Acoustic music will be performed by Wil Maring and Robert Bowlin at 7 p.m. Friday at the Trail of Tears State Park amphitheater. Their music is a mix of bluegrass, folk and country. The free concert will last about an hour and a half and is open to the public. Garden club flower show set for Saturday
The Council of Garden Clubs of Cape Girardeau will hold a small standard flower show from noon to 4 p.m. Saturday at Centenary United Methodist Church Family Life Center, 300 N. Ellis St. The show is free and open to the public.
Methodist women hold rummage and bake sale
The Sedgewickville United Methodist Women will hold a rummage and bake sale at the Sedgewickville United Methodist Church Fellowship Hall from 6 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday. Proceeds will benefit mission work.
Cape River Heritage Museum hours change
Effective immediately, the Cape River Heritage Museum at 538 Independence St. will change its hours to 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday and Saturday only. For more information, call 334-0405.
