Sikeston Lions sell meats to meet needs

The Sikeston Lions Club is selling Boston butts and ribs with proceeds to support area needs. Orders can be picked up from noon to 6 p.m. Thursday and Friday at Veteran's Park across from Taco Bell on Malone Avenue in Sikeston.

Seminar for prospective adoptive parents

AARP driver safety program class planned

Taught by trained volunteer instructors, the AARP Driver Safety Program Class will be held from 12 to 4 p.m. May 4 and 5 at the Bank of Missouri Building at 3247 William St., near Wal-Mart in Cape Girardeau. Enrollment is limited to 20 people. The course is given in two separate sessions. Both sessions must be attended to earn a certificate of completion. For more information, call Robert W.
