Capaha car club holding swap meet Sunday
Capaha Antique Car Club will feature its annual indoor swap meet from 6:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. rain or shine Sunday at the Arena Building in Cape Girardeau. Antique and classic car, truck and tractor parts will be available. For more information, call David Johnson at 334-6000.
Historical and Genealogy Society meets Tuesday
At 7 p.m. Tuesday, the Scott County Historical and Genealogy Society will hold its regular meeting at the Scott County Courthouse in Benton, Mo. Guest speaker for the evening will be Fred Bollinger of Scott City. "Arrowhead Fred" has been collecting and aiding in the preservation of our area's American Indian heritage for 50 years.
Auction to benefit MS will feature Bud Girls
A silent auction sponsored by the MS Corporate Achievers will be held at 7 p.m. Feb. 21 at the Kelso Country Club. The event will benefit the National Multiple Sclerosis Society. The Bud Girls will make an appearance. For more information, call Kathy at (573) 382-1331.

Salvation Army serving free Meals With Friends
The Salvation Army will be serving Meals With Friends from 4:30 to 6 p.m. Feb. 23 through 27 at 701 Good Hope in Cape Girardeau. Any individual is welcome to come and enjoy a hot, nutritious meal in a warm, friendly atmosphere at no cost. The Monday menu is turkey dinner, green beans, mashed potatoes, rolls and butter, cake or pie; Tuesday, ham and broccoli casserole, rice, jello salad, bread and butter, cake or pie; Wednesday, Mexican casserole, corn, lettuce, bread and butter, cake or pie; Thursday, turkey and noodles, mixed vegetables, pears, bread and butter, cake or pie; Friday, BBQ pork, coleslaw, baked beans, bread and butter, cake or pie.
