Motorcycle to benefit Kenny Rogers center
Minor's Harley-Davidson of Cape Girardeau recently celebrated the grand opening of its new location on Interstate 55 by presenting the Kenny Rogers Children's Center with keys to a 2004 Harley-Davidson V-Rod. The motorcycle will be raffled off.
Tickets, limited to 3,000, can be purchased by calling KRCC at 472-0397 or Minor's Harley-Davidson at 334-7716.
All ticket sales will benefit KRCC.
Lewis, Clark commission meets today at CVB
The Lewis and Clark Bicentennial Commission will hold a public meeting at 7 p.m. today at the Convention and Visitors Bureau in Cape Girardeau. The meeting is to pull together all the final details for the re-enactment and the Red House Interpretive Center. Everyone planning to participate in the Nov. 21 to 23 event and the National Park Service Corps II Nov. 30 to Dec. 4 is encouraged to attend.
Cape library sponsoring Great Books session
The next Great Books 2003 session at the Cape Girardeau Public Library will be from 2 to 4 p.m. Nov. 18 in the Hirsch Community Room. Joseph Bruchac's "Sacajawea, the Story of Bird Woman and the Lewis and Clark Expedition" will be discussed.

Flu shots at Scott Co. Health Department
The Scott County Health Department, at 919 E. Malone, Sikeston, will administer flu shots from 4 to 6 p.m. today and from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. Friday. No one will be refused because of inability to pay. For more information, call 471-4044.
