Grant-writing workshop presented by United Way

The United Way of Southeast Missouri is offering a "Strategies for Success" workshop from 8 a.m. to noon Wednesday at the Bank of Missouri basement conference room, 3427 William St. The workshop will provide an overview of the basics of grant writing and the procurement process in an interactive group. The workshop will be presented by Regina Tucker, grant program director for the United Way of Southeast Missouri. Participants should be familiar with the grant support request application available on the United Way Web site, www. unitedwayofsemo.org. Benefit fish fry and bake sale for LeRoy Tatum

A benefit for East Cape Girardeau resident LeRoy Tatum will be held from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Nov. 6 at Babe's Fish Wagon in East Cape Girardeau, Ill. (between T&T Choppers and The Purple Crackle).
