Walk-through drama shows eternal possibilities

Medivial of Life topic at Caring Council
Guest speakers for the Community Caring Council meeting at 7:30 a.m. Friday will be Darlene Casteel, pharmacy customer service representative, and Michelle Smith, customer service representative, from the Medicate Pharmacies in Farmington. The meeting will be held at the SADI office, 121 S. Broadview. Information will be presented on Medivial of Life, a free service offered to the community in partnership with emergency response crews.
Garden dedication planned at Wolf Lake
Sponsored by the Wolf Lake Park Committee, a homecoming and memorial garden dedication will be held beginning with a potluck at 12:30 p.m. Sunday at Wolf Lake Community Park. Drinks and place settings will be provided. Local entertainment will follow the meal. A cake walk, face painting, Bingo and a sack race for all ages will be held, with prizes awarded to winners. Fall fund raiser on tap for Young Life
The Christian-based youth group Young Life will hold its fall fund raiser at 6:30 p.m. Oct. 30 at Deerfield Lodge. The hoe down incorporates "Throwing the Dough Down." Entertainment includes a bluegrass band. For more information, call 335-8300.
Jackson business women sponsoring pageants
The Miss Jackson Pageants, sponsored by the American Business Women's Association Jacksonian Charter Chapter, will be held at 2 and 7:30 p.m. Nov. 13. The pageants are affiliated with the Miss Missouri/Miss America Pageants. Young women between 4 and 24 are eligible. The winner of the Miss Jackson Scholarship Pageant will represent Jackson in the Miss Missouri Scholarship Pageant in Atlantic City.
