Limbaugh School reunion scheduled for Sunday
The Limbaugh School Reunion will be held at 12:30 p.m. Sunday at Delmonicos Restaurant in Jackson.
All former students, teachers and friends are welcome.
Statler family reunion to be held at church
Descendants of Adam Jefferson Statler will hold a reunion beginning at 10:30 a.m. July 12 at the Sedgewickville United Methodist Church in Sedgewickville, Mo. Ladies of the church will serve lunch if enough individuals attend.

Women's agriculture group meets Thursday
Scott County Women in Agriculture will meet at 7 p.m. Thursday at the Scott County USDA office in Benton, Mo. Interested individuals are invited to come.
Not all members of the group are involved in farming, but they do share an interest in gardening, cooking, family activities, helping their community, and so on.

Pork butts to benefit Liberty Fest fireworks
Old Town Cape will be selling Port Cape's hickory-smoked pork butts to benefit Liberty Fest, the family-oriented fireworks celebration that will be held July 4 on the Riverfront in the Old Town Cape District.
The pork is 4- to 5-pound hickory-smoked balsam butts, cooked for a minimum of 12 hours by Port Cape. Orders will be taken until Tuesday. They can be picked up from July 1 to 8 at Port Cape, 19 N. Water St. Old Town Cape will receive a portion of every sale.
Orders can be taken at Tom Higgins Accounting and Tax Service Office at 112 Themis, by phone at 335-1456, or from an Old Town Cape volunteer. Payment must accompany orders.

Volunteer help needed at Cape's Red House
Volunteers ages 14 and up are needed for the Red House Interpretive Center in Cape Girardeau. The help is needed from 8:30 a.m. to noon on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays to help fill in between the vertical logs with stones and mortar or brick and mortar. Training will be provided, but rubber gloves should be brought to the site.
