COMMUNICATIONS MAJOR PRESENTS SENIOR RECITAL

Laura Dew, a senior communication major at William Jewell College in Liberty, Mo., presented her senior speech recital titled "The Open Door" on April 7.

Dew is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Larry Dew of Cape Girardeau.

The senior speech recital is a long-standing tradition at William Jewell College. Each major in the department of Communication and Public Relations must prepare and present a 20-minute persuasive speech during their senior year as a requirement for graduation. Each recital is evaluated by the department faculty on its content, organization and delivery.
