Both commissioners Paul Koeper and Jay Purcell approved the request. Presiding Commissioner Gerald Jones was not present at Monday's meeting.

In other business, the commission delayed a decision on the renewal of a loan and line of credit for the Cape County Transit Authority until Aug. 9, 2010. The bank requires all three commissioners to sign the renewal at the same time, and Jones was not available to sign at Monday's meeting. Purcell has also requested representatives from the transit authority attend next Monday's meeting to present more information about the loan and its payback plans.
