JACKSON -- Commerce Bank of Southeast Missouri will open a branch at 2025 E. Jackson Boulevard May 3.
Timothy M. Sievers has been appointed vice president, and will serve as branch manager. Sievers has been with Commerce Bank since last year. He has nine years of experience in banking with the former Jackson Exchange Bank.
Susan Rogers and Kimberly R. Sims will also transfer from Commerce Bank of Cape Girardeau to the bank at Jackson. Rogers, who joined Commerce Bank in May 1992, has several years of banking experience. She previously worked with First National Bank of Cape Girardeau, First Exchange Bank of Cape Girardeau and Colonial Federal of Cape Girardeau. She has been promoted to real-estate loan officer. Sims, who joined Commerce Bank in May 1992, will be a teller at the new facility.
Four new employees will join Commerce Bank of Jackson Shelly M. Williams, Pamela A. Wright and Patricia Ann Reed, all of Jackson, and Paul D. Bailey of Cape Girardeau.
Williams has two years of banking experience and will be head teller at Jackson; Wright, with more than 15 years of experience, will work as financial services representative; Reed, who has 11 years banking experience will be a teller; and Bailey, who previously worked with First State Bank of Monett, Mo., will be assistant vice president and work with consumer loans.
"We're pleased to be expanding to the Jackson community," said Cord A. Polen, president of Commerce Bank at Cape Girardeau. "We look forward to serving the Jackson community. We feel that to adequately serve the needs of Cape Girardeau County we need to be in Jackson."
The facility will provide full services commercial, agriculture, residential and consumer loans; investments and trust services; and Automated Teller Machine, a variety of checking, savings, and credit card account options. The branch will also have drive-up services.
Hours for the branch will be 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Monday through Thursday; 9 a.m.-6 p.m. Friday; and 9 a.m.-noon Saturday. The drive-up facility will be open from 8:30 a.m.-6 p.m. Monday through Friday and 8:30 a.m.-noon Saturday.
A ribbon-cutting ceremony will be held May 4. David Kemper, chairman and CEO, Commerce Bancshares, and Warren Seaver, vice chairman, Commerce Bancshares, will attend.
With the opening of the Jackson branch, Commerce Bank will offer five locations in Southeast Missouri Jackson, Cape Girardeau, Qulin and two facilities in Poplar Bluff.
