CNN's Anderson Cooper will present "A 360-degree Look at World Events" as part of Southeast Missouri State University's 2014-2015 Speakers Series at 3 p.m. Sunday at the Show Me Center. His presentation is a featured Family Weekend event. Tickets are required. General admission tickets are $10 and can be bought at showmecenter.biz and the Show Me Center box office. Current Southeast faculty, staff and students may use a valid Redhawks ID to pick up a free ticket in the University Center, room 204, or the Show Me Center box office. Cooper is the host of "Anderson Cooper 360," which airs at 7 p.m. weeknights on CNN. Cooper joined ABC from Channel One News, where he served as chief international correspondent. Channel One News was a school television network seen daily in more than 12,000 classrooms nationwide. He graduated from Yale University in 1989 with a bachelor's degree in political science. He also studied Vietnamese at the University of Hanoi.
