Lamplighter FCE Club met July 16 at the home of Bev Meyer. The minutes of the June meeting were read, and the treasurer's report was given and approved.

Unfinished business included members donating meat which would include raw meat, chicken, beef, pork, deer, turkey, or bones to the Tiger Sanctuary. Cleaning out refrigerators and freezers of old and unwanted meat was suggested.

Scholarship forms are still available for first timers to the state conference.

Under new business there was a nomination for each member to donate $1.76 at each meeting until July 2016 for Missouri Veterans Home fireworks. Also, members will be working on Christmas cards to donate to Friends of Our Troops no later than Nov. 11.

Both unfinished business and new business were approved.

Verla Mangels gave a program on radon testing and Dodie Eisenhauer gave a program about Best of MO Hands.

The next meeting will be at 1 p.m. Aug. 20 at the home of Linda Sebaugh.
