One new member, Vicki Scherer, was welcomed into the club.

Collection was taken for Pennies for Friendship and the flower fund. The minutes were read by Peggy Barks, secretary, and the treasurer's report was read by Hecht, treasurer. Both reports were approved.

Rehak related that Books for Newborns were given in honor of the National Day of the Child. Bebe Jenkins led a discussion on which baked items sold best at the club's rummage sale. The program was given by Rehak and Barbara Barks. Rehak spoke about how TV codes and ratings have changed over the years using information gathered from the #5 Hearthfire on watching TV and how parents need to be aware of what messages their children are getting when they watch certain programs. Barks reminded members that we need to be careful when using electronic devices because there are so many scams on the internet. Unscrupulous people try to pfish to get credit card numbers and other information on the phone or internet so they can use that to set up false accounts, etc. Hearthfire #58 had some good suggestions about how to avoid these problems.

After the program, Rehak had a memory game for the members, and refreshments were served.
