The Cape Girardeau County clerk's office, along with all county offices, will be closed on Monday for Columbus Day.
Voter registration will continue Tuesday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and Wednesday from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Wednesday is the final day to register for the Nov. 8 election.
Voters who are already registered can change their address through Oct. 19.
Absentee voting will continue through Nov. 7 at county clerk offices in both Cape Girardeau and Jackson.
Persons wishing to register to vote should bring some form of identification, such as a driver's license, Social Security card or checkbook with an address.
Voter registration can be done at the county administration building in Jackson, at the courthouse annex in Cape Girardeau or at the Cape Girardeau Public Library, during regular business hours.
