CLAUDIA CO. OFFERS WOMEN 6 SCHOLARSHIPS

The Claudia Co. will offer six scholarships for Three Rivers Community College for the 1995-96 school year.

This is the seventh consecutive year these scholarships have been available for area women.

The deadline to apply for the Claudia Bloodworth scholarships is April 1.

The Claudia Co., a philanthropic foundation funded by television writer and producer Linda Bloodworth-Thomason, annually awards up to six full two-year scholarships to women attending Three Rivers Community College.

The awards for the 1995-96 school year will pay tuition, fees and books.

The Claudia Bloodworth scholarship program is designed to promote education opportunities for women of Southeast Missouri.

The scholarships, for the traditional student, are need-based and designed to encourage and challenge women to assume leadership roles and professional positions.

Recipients will be chosen by Linda Bloodworth-Thomason in consultation with the Claudia Co. Advisory Board.

Applications must be postmarked by April 1. They are available at Three Rivers Community College Financial Aid Office or will be sent on request by calling 314-686-3040.
