Leonard Clark, assistant to the president for equal opport~unity/diversity issues at Southeast Missouri State University, has been selected to participate in the Leadership Missouri class of 1993.

Leadership Missouri is a program of the Missouri Chamber of Commerce. It's designed to train people in the functions and challenges of state government, particularly as they relate to the business community.

Through this program, the chamber hopes to develop a pool of knowledgeable, influential and energetic leaders from which the organization might draw for its program committees and board, university officials said.

"My participation in Leadership Missouri, on behalf of the university, will enable me to participate more fully in the affairs of Cape Girardeau and the county and will help me in gaining an understanding of the forces at work in the state of Missouri," said Clark.

Clark is in his first year at Southeast Missouri State. He previously served as executive director of the Kentucky Commission on Human Rights.
