FROHNA -- Clara Susanna Fiehler, 96, of Frohna died Monday, June 28, 1993, at Perry County Memorial Hospital in Perryville.
She was born June 15, 1897, at Altenburg, the daughter of Henry and Paulina Bodenschatz Kaufmann. On Nov. 7, 1925, she married Benjamin Fiehler, who preceded her in death Sept. 3, 1945.
She was a retired cook at Concordia Student Seminary. She also was a member of the Concordia Lutheran Church in Frohna and the Concordia Ladies Aid.
Survivors include two sons, Howard and Edward Fiehler of Frohna; two step-sons, Rupert Fiehler of Cape Girardeau and Clennon Fiehler of Pinehurst, Idaho; two grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; eight step-grandchildren; and seven step, great-grandchildren.
Friends may call from 5-9 p.m. today and from 6:30-8 a.m. Thursday at Young and Sons East Perry Chapel in Altenburg. Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at the Concordia Lutheran Church in Frohna. The Rev. Luther Herman will officiate, and burial will be in the church cemetery.
