CIVIL WAR HISTORY EVENT IS ON TAP AT PILOT KNOB

PILOT KNOB -- A Civil War living history demonstration will be held at Fort Davidson State Historic Site here June 25 under sponsorship of the Ironton Rotary Club in cooperation with the Missouri Department of Natural Resources and the Missouri Civil War Re-enactors Association.

Arcadia Valley Civil War Heritage Day begins at 8 a.m. and runs through 4 p.m.

In addition to activities at Fort Davidson, the Iron County Historical Society Museum near the Iron County Courthouse in Ironton will be open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., featuring a special Civil War period display.
