The Cape Girardeau Parks and Recreation Department will hold its Easter egg hunt April 8 at Capaha Park.
There will be two hunts -- one for children 4 and younger at 10 a.m. and one for children between 5 and 10 at 11:30.
Each age group will have between 30 and 45 minutes to hunt. There will be a prize for those who find the secret eggs. Those who plan to attend or participate should meet at the parking lot by the swimming pool.
The event is free. All prizes will be distributed immediately after the hunt.
Children must provide their own basket. Parents should be prepared to escort smaller children if necessary.
To register people can contact the Parks and Recreation Department at 335-5421.
