Cape Bible Chapel will host its 1998 Missions Conference March 13-15. Dr. Walter Baker will be the speaker.
Baker is associate professor emeritus of world missions at Dallas Theological Seminary in Dallas. He served as a missionary in Haiti and the West Indies for 10 years and on the faculty at L'Ecole Evangelique De La Bible and Lancaster Bible College.
The conference begins at 6:30 p.m. March 13 with a potluck dinner. General session begins at 7:30 p.m.
Activities March 14 include a men's breakfast at 8:45 a.m. with Baker and missionaries Steve St. Clair and Steve Slocum. St. Clair serves in the Philippines and Slocum in Kazakhstan.
At 10:30 a.m., sessions for adults, children and youth will be held. A ladies' luncheon is planned at 11:45 with the missionaries.
Baker will speak during the 8 and 10:45 a.m. worship services March 15 at the church.
