The Tigers won the trophy for Outstanding Musical Performance and placed second in General Effect. The contest was held at Central High School in Park Hills before an audience of several thousand people. Dozens of Cape Central Band Boosters were there to cheer the band.

During 1995 marching season, the Tigers racked up three second place finishes, one third and one fourth. A banquet will be held Saturday to celebrate the winning season.
