CHRISTIAN WOMEN'S CLUB PLANS LUNCHEON MEETING

"Pick of the Crop" is the theme for Monday's luncheon of the Cape Girardeau County Christian Women's Club.

The luncheon and meeting will be from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Holiday Inn at $7.50 a person.

Complimentary day care will be provided for children to 10 years old.

Allison Woods of Trenton, Ill., will speak on "The Core of the Matter."

There will be an autumn bazaar featuring crafts, baked goods, plants, jams and jellies. Cathy Smith will provide the music.

Luncheon and day-care reservations need to be made by Thursday by calling 334-4259. Cancellations should be made if unable to attend.
