An exhibit of artworks made by students in the "Dream and Draw" Summer Art Workshop sponsored by the Southeast Missouri Council on the Arts will be on display during the month of September at Gallery 100.
The 176 artworks on display were made by students age 6-15 from Cape Girardeau, Jackson, Sikeston, Scott City, Marble Hill, Patton, Oak Ridge and McClure, Ill.
The students learned about developing ideas through drawing in a variety of different media, studying different artists, inventors, architects and cultures, listening to guest speakers, and discovering the art and artifacts at the University Museum.
The exhibit is free and open to the public from 1-4 p.m. weekdays.
