CHAFFEE -- A program on child safety will be presented Tuesday at the Parents as Teachers parent meeting.

McGruff the crime dog will speak to parents and children. Kevin Orr, with the Cape Girardeau Police Department, will lead the program, and children will be fingerprinted.

The meeting begins at 7 p.m. in the Chaffee Elementary Gym. Door prizes and snacks will be provided.

Parents as Teachers is a free program that serves families with children from birth to three years in the Chaffee, Delta, Kelly, Kelso and Scott City school districts.
