CAPE GIRARDEAU -- Maurice R. ("Moe") Sandfort and Nancy Bray have been elected to the Chateau Girardeau Board of Directors.
Sandfort, executive vice president of Boatmen's National Bank of Cape Girardeau, was elected to a four-year term and Bray, director of marketing and communications at Southeast Missouri Hospital, was elected to fill the remaining two years of a term vacated by Louis B. Sewell.
Sewell had served on the board since its incorporation in 1975. He and his wife, Sara, now are Chateau Girardeau residents.
The new directors were selected during an annual meeting of members of Cape Retirement Community Inc.
Reelected to new, four-year terms were Norman W. Wood and William E. Port Jr. Port also was elected second vice president.
Other board members and officers of the corporation are: Kenneth E. Bender, president; Edwin K. Kiefner, first vice president; Judith R. Wilferth, secretary; Jack Mehner, treasurer; Leta Bahn; Carlston A. Bohnsack; Edwin C. Brasington; Larry Dew; and Peter D. Kinder.
Barbara N. Calvin is administrator of Chateau Girardeau and Robert V. Strickland is assistant administrator.
