Two of the six suspects taken into custody Tuesday afternoon during a drug bust on Rampart Street in north Cape Girardeau have been charged with drug offenses. Police arrested Danny R. Bickings, 54, of 1742 Rampart St., on charges of possession of drug paraphernalia, specifically a crack pipe, said police spokesman Cpl. Jason Selzer. Bickings is held at Cape Girardeau City Jail on $5,000 cash bond. Clarence Brown Jr., 21, of 900 Perry Ave., was charged with possession of up to 35 grams marijuana, possession with intent to distribute, second-degree drug trafficking and resisting arrest. Brown attempted to flee during the bust, and an officer shot at him with a Taser, but he was out of reach, Selzer said. Bond for Brown is set at $15,000.
