CHANGES IN MISSOURIAN NEWS STAFF ARE ANNOUNCED
The Southeast Missourian has announced several personnel changes in its news department. Marty Mishow, a sports writer at the Southeast Missourian since September 1984, has been promoted to sports editor. Jay Eastlick, a staff writer at the newspaper since March 1990, has been promoted to night editor and will discontinue his regular reporting duties.
Bill Heitland, sports editor of the Bulletin Journal and Southeast Missourian since September 1981, has joined the news staff and will continue to write a personal column.
Marc Powers, a former news reporter for the Dexter Daily Statesman, joins the staff of the Southeast Missourian as a sports writer.
