Chamber's First Friday Coffee will focus on education

The Cape Girardeau Area Chamber of Commerce's First Friday Coffee this week at the Show Me Center will feature a presentation called "Public Education: Positioning for Continuing Excellence."

Dr. Jim Welker, superintendent of Cape Girardeau Public Schools, and Dr. Ron Anderson, superintendent of Jackson Public Schools, are scheduled to speak.

Hendrickson Business Advisors and The UPS Store are sponsoring the event. Doors open at 7 a.m. and the program starts at 7:40 a.m.
