Chamber program to focus on emergency preparedness

The Cape Girardeau Area Chamber of Commerce First Friday Coffee will feature a presentation Friday by the American Red Cross on the "Ready Rating" program.
Beth Seabaugh, community resilience services coordinator for the Southeast Missouri chapter of the American Red Cross, will speak about the free, online, self-paced assessment of emergency preparedness of businesses, schools and organizations.
A continental breakfast will be available at 7 a.m. at the Show Me Center and the presentation will begin at 7:40 a.m.
