CHAMBER OF COMMERCE BOARD ELECTS NEW OFFICERS

Bart Ozbun has been re-elected chairman of the Cape Girardeau Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors.

Other officers elected during the board meeting Wednesday morning were:

* Steve Leus, manager of Lone Start Industries, chairman-elect.

* Donna Burk, area manager of Southwestern Bell Telephone, vice chairperson.

* Paul Hawkins, Sears manager, secretary

Steve Ketelsen, last year's chairman-elect, resigned from the chamber board recently.

Ozbun, vice president and financial counselor-in-charge of the local Merrill Lynch investment office, said the chamber was looking forward to the year 2000 and beyond.

New members to the board this year are Don Fisher, JCPenney Co.; Dr. Pauline Fox, Southeast Missouri State University; Bill Hinckley, BioKyowa, Inc.; Bill Kiel, St. Francis Medical Center; Skip Smallwood, AmerenUE; and Steve Taylor, Bank of America.
