CHAMBER AWARDS YARDS OF THE MONTH

John Baker, left, of 3508 Pheasant Cove, was a residential winner in the September Yard of the Month awards presented by the Cape Girardeau Chamber of Commerce. Making the presentation was Danny Essner.

Adele Kupchella, left, presented the non-residential award to the Holiday Inn and Victorian Inn, I-55 and Route K, with Judy Brown, sales and catering manager for the inns.

Georgia and Dallas Howe, 220 Edgewood Drive, received a residential award. The monthly awards are presented by the chamber's Beautification Committee. The recipients are in one of seven major areas of Cape Girardeau.
