Chamber accepting Educator of the Year nominations

The Cape Girardeau Area Chamber of Commerce is accepting nominations for the 2010 Educator of the Year.

Nominations will be accepted until 5 p.m. Dec. 4. Forms are available at the chamber's office and website at www.capechamber.com/onlineforms/Educatorsform.aspx.

Nominations will be accepted for full-time educators in a public, private, parochial or business school in Cape Girardeau. The Education Committee will send an application to nominees. Finalists for the award are honored at a banquet held in early May. Shawn Brooks, Yvonne Campbell, Susan Cook, Patricia Heisserer, Dr. Jeremy Barnes received the honor earlier this year.
