Chaffee mother and daughter injured in crash

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Patricia Lands, 32, of Chaffee, driving a 1992 Ford van, attempted to pass a 1992 Chevrolet pickup driven by Ricky Schatte, 18, of Bloomfield, Mo., while Schatte was attempting to make a left turn.
Lands was taken to Southeast Missouri Hospital with minor injuries. Her daughter, Brianna Maclin, 7, suffered moderate injuries and was taken to the same hospital.
