A Chaffee, Missouri, man is in custody on drug charges after Scott County sheriff’s deputies searched his residence and a shed.

David A. Turner, 32, is charged with two felony counts of possession of a controlled substance and misdemeanor possession of a controlled substance.

On Thursday, deputies served a search warrant in Chaffee, where they found Turner in the shed during their search.

According to Sheriff Rick Walter, in the shed deputies found small plastic bags containing a white powdery substance that tested positive for methamphetamine, along with paraphernalia used to ingest drugs and weight-controlled substances. A green, leafy substance that tested positive for marijuana and a controlled-substance prescription pill also were found in the shed.

Found inside Turner’s bedroom were more marijuana and paraphernalia used to store and ingest controlled substances, the sheriff reported.

Bond was set at $15,000 cash or surety.
