Central snaps seven-year losing streak against Jackson

Central senior Keilon Moore compiled another outstanding effort Friday, finishing with three touchdowns in the Tigers' 41-6 rout of rival Jackson.

Moore rushed for 95 yards and two scores and returned the second-half kickoff 98 yards for a score to lead the Tigers to victory.

It's the first time Central beat Jackson since 2002 and the first time since the Tigers opened the season 4-0 since 1977.

Central pulled away in the second quarter after the Indians pulled within a touchdown. It scored three touchdowns in the final four minutes of the second quarter to earn separation.

Central's defense limited the Indians to 87 yards of offense and forced Jackson to punt six times.
