Nancy Kerrigan's not the only performer hitting the streets of Disney World. The Cape Girardeau Central High School marching band will be performing along side Mickey Mouse on Tuesday.
Director Ron Nall said students will leave Cape Girardeau this afternoon for Orlando, Fla. About 120 students and 25 adults are making the trip.
They will march in the Disney World parade Tuesday. While in Florida, Nall said, they will also visit Epcot Center, Sea World and the Kennedy Space Center.
Students raised money for the trip through a variety of fund raisers. Nall said the school district is not funding the trip.
Every three years, Nall explained, band members make some sort of trip. Three years ago they traveled to Washington D.C.
Before being accepted for a Disney World parade, Nall sent an audition tape for park officials to view. They approved the band's performance.
