The Cape Girardeau Central High School chamber, concert and girls choirs will perform their first concert tonight at 7:30 p.m.
The fall choir concert is a demonstration performance designed to give the audience an idea of what takes place during choir practice.
Among pieces to be performed in "The Welcoming Table" by J.S. Ballard featuring Tom Robinson as baritone soloist. Andrew Lloyd Webber's "Pie Jesu" will feature senior sopranos Alison Nall and Jenny Broom and junior tenor George Aplin.
Anyone interested in becoming a choir patron may contact choir director Judy Williams. Patrons receive free admission to all choir performances and two tickets to the madrigal feast, which will be held in January. The patron fee is $25.
